She’d left him after over a decade of marriage.  He’d done everything he could to keep her happy. The sand was gentle underfoot as he walked dejectedly along the beach. The light of the moon on the water reminded him of the night he’d proposed, a proposal that had left her speechless. 100 metres ahead a boy was coming towards him at speed. The boy was clutching a handbag and kept looking back over his shoulder. He didn’t even think about, simply tackled the boy and took hold of the bag. This is going back to the owner he thought.
