This will be the last 100 word story exercise I post for a little while. The exercises have been stimulating and mostly enjoyable but I feel I have enough motivation at present as well as tons of ideas and projects to eep me going. No doubt I will return to these the next time I need a kick-start of sorts.

Random plot elements:

An ambitious 44 year-old woman
A sensitive 21 year-old woman
A cinema
A wedding anniversary
learning from mistakes

Random story:

‘What the hell was that?” shouted the actress to no one in particular.

Her young assistant looked frazzled, she wasn’t accustomed to people yelling in a movie theatre. Obviously the actress wasn’t happy with what had been shot that day but the assistant couldn’t think about that right now.

‘You’re husband will be waiting,’ she nervously spoke.

‘Waiting for what?’

‘Well, ummm, it’s the 27th.’

No response.

‘Of March.’

Still nothing.

‘Your anni… your anniversary Miss Swindles,’ the assistant finally squeaked.

‘For fucks sake! Today? Really?’ the actress asked her subordinate.

A nod of the head was her only reply.
