Yeezy Does It

This is the one I didn't enter into the competition (see Reservations - 1st Draft), even though the only feedback I received was that people preferred this one over the other one. I'm like that sometimes. It was inspired by some recent conversations I've had with a couple of my co-workers, who for some reason have all of a sudden become low level athletic footwear enthusiasts.

Reservations – 1st Draft

Most of the time with these things, I start writing a story based on an idea that has randomly popped into my head,an idea that is completely independent of the criteria put in place by the Australian Writers' Centre - the organisation that hosts the Furious Fiction competition - and this time was no exception. In fact, the only difference between this submission and my previous attempts was that, having missed the previous month's competition, I decided to write two stories.

This one was written during some lonely bus rides back in 2018. It was written for a friend who liked to read my stories during their own bus rides. It worked out well because it kept us both entertained for a few days.
