Here is a treat for you – three drafts in one post. This story is another one that began life as an exercise in my storytelling class. To cut a short story shorter we were basically given 3o minutes to tell a complete story in three paragraphs. I outright failed the exercise but did manage to get an idea for another story.

And here it is, the first three drafts of it anyway. The first draft I titled 3 Paragraphs because that was what the class exercise was known as, the 2nd Draft I changed to ‘3 Acts’ because I started to experiment with the traditional three act structure of stories and the third draft is the first I’ve actually completed fully.
